Jesus is Risen! Alleluia! Happy Easter! If you read the Gospel of John 20: 1-11, it is clear that Christ is our life. Easter invites us to be a witness of Jesus Christ.

There is a journey toward the Resurrection of Jesus that each of us take. The last 72 hours of Jesus’ life changed the whole world. His words and actions during that time still shape our culture and the church. At the Valentine Methodist Church, we are taking a moment to recognize the impact of this incredible time as we prepare to celebrate the Resurrection this year.

By the time this message is printed, we’ll be a weekend away from Easter. If you are reading this, I hope you’ll hang with me for a minute. I’d like you to pause for a moment and consider something. When we think about truth, we often see it as a concept or an idea. But what if truth was not just a thing to be understood, and instead was a person to be known?

The Badger Effort Award is based on the school's character education. Students who demonstrate Character In Action (CIA), responsibility, accountability, honesty, empathy, and respect were nominated by their classroom teachers and staff. North Central District Health Department (NCDHD) would like to provide a community update on changes with COVID-19 vaccinations and the rise in Measles cases in the U.S. COVID-19 - On February 28, the CDC Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) approved a recommendation for adults ages 65 years and older to receive an additional updated 20232024 COVID-19 vaccine dose.

Incidents/Arrests On 03/03/2024 at 9:28 p.m., an officer responded to the 100 block of West Highway 20 for a theft complaint. A 30 year old South Dakota man was arrested on an active federal warrant, theft by unlawful taking and possession of stolen property.
