We look back at the third quarter of 2022 beginning with July and America’s birthday! There was a lot of fun and festivities celebrating our nation’s birth. The annual July 4th parade was sponsored by Liberty Fireworks. The theme this year was Red, White and Blue, We Love You! Following the parade, Leo Brinda Unit #90 had everyone gather at Badger Field where they read the Declaration of Independence. Wreckless Promotions began the annual Demolition Derby with a total of 24 cars. The Lions Club sponsored the annual Richard Sokol, Sr., Memorial 4th of July Fireworks Display, which was held directly following the Demolition Derby at the Cherry County Fairgrounds. Happy Birthday America! God help our country continue to be free!
