Attorney General Peterson received the Kelley-Wyman award

The Office of the Nebraska Attorney General is pleased to announce that Nebraska Attorney General Doug Peterson is a recipient of this year’s Kelley-Wyman award from the National Association of Attorneys General (NAAG). NAAG announced the recipients of its annual awards during the organization’s annual Capital Forum event on December 7.

Renning receives the Caring Kind Award

Every year, the Nebraska Hospital Association (NHA) bestows deserving recipients with the Caring Kind Award as recognition to Nebraska health care team members who have risen to the top by providing service excellence and dedication to their profession. These award recipients commit themselves to the betterment of their hospitals and health systems, their customers, their co-workers and their communities. The NHA started the Caring Kind Award 43 years ago. Cherry County Hospital and Clinic is pleased to announce that the winner of this year’s the Caring Kind award for our organization goes to Kathryn Renning.

Pillen announces new appointments

LINCOLN – Nebraska Governorelect Jim Pillen announced Tom Riley will continue as the Director of the Nebraska Department of Natural Resources. Riley will be a critical leader in Governor-elect Pillen’s work to move the Perkins County Canal Project forward.
