Valentine Education Association The Valentine Education Association will be offering a $250 scholarship to a local college student. Applicants must be majoring in education and be a junior or senior in college for the 2022-2023 year.

Celebrating National Kindergarten Day

April 21 is National Kindergarten Day. Kindergarten is a German word meaning “children’s garden.” The name was coined by the German educator Friedrich Wilhelm August Froebel who created the first kindergarten in 1837.

Daily kingdom rule

In our church plant experience, we have felt despair at times. The situations we faced were nothing we’d encountered. We felt weak. However, some of those to whom we ministered looked to us for resources. They wanted us to be “strong” for them. We learned a lot about Resurrection power and the rule of God’s kingdom in us as we acknowledged our weakness - while ministering to the weak and needy God placed in our path.
