Salvation Army exceeds $7,000 goal with Christmas Kettle Campaign

The Valentine Lions Club partners with The Salvation Army each year to raise money during the Christmas Kettle Campaign that runs from the day after Thanksgiving through Christmas Eve. The goal set for 2021 was $7,000 and thanks to 132 bell ringers along with many generous donors the goal was exceeded and $8,594 was raised.

December 27, 2021 Lincoln – The Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services Division of Behavioral Health, the Nebraska Pharmacists Association and Behavioral Health Region Systems are offering Statewide Narcan Program that distributes free Narcan nasal spray kits in Nebraska. The program allows anyone who is a Nebraska resident to obtain Narcan for free, without a prescription at a participating pharmacy. There are currently 44 pharmacies that participate in the program, and more are being added weekly.
