Kick-Off Click It or Ticket Campaign

May 16, 2023, Lincoln — Summer is on the way! Memorial Day is right around the corner, which means the summer travel season is coming up quickly. Troopers with the Nebraska State Patrol, along with officers and deputies from dozens of agencies across Nebraska, are participating in the annual Click It or Ticket campaign.

Mat 19, 2023, Lincoln — The Nebraska State Patrol arrested multiple people during incidents at the Nebraska State Capitol Building during legislative debate on Friday, May 19, 2023. During the legislative debate, at approximately 2:40 p.m., multiple observers in the opponent balcony began yelling.

USDA offers livestock disaster program flexibilities in response to those impacted by drought, winter storms

Lincoln-USDA’s Farm Service Agency (FSA) is providing additional flexibilities and further enhancing disaster recovery assistance provided by the Emergency Assistance for Livestock, Honeybees, and Farm-raised Fish Program (ELAP), Livestock Indemnity Program (LIP) and Livestock Forage Disaster Program (LFP) in response to needs expressed by livestock producers who have experienced significant feed, forage, animal and infrastructure loss from pre-existing, long-term drought conditions further compounded by unprecedented snowfall and winter storms.

Both FIFRA and the Nebraska Pesticide Act state that the label must be followed when making a pesticide application. Each product label has specific information regarding use to reduce risk to the applicator, other people, nontargets, and the environment. Some products may require additional data collection or training before applications. Others may require site investigation using Field-Watch, DriftWatch, or BeeCheck. Read and follow the label every time you use a pesticide. It’s the law.
