Carol D. Starkjohann, 100

As previously reported, Carol D. Starkjohann, long time resident of Valentine, passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 19, 2021. With warmer weather and vaccine advancements, there will be a graveside memorial service for Carol on Friday, June 4, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. CT at the Stromsburg Cemetery in Stromsburg, located at Route M and 9th Street. Following the memorial, a reception in celebration of her impressive 100 ½ years will be held at the Cornhusker Hotel in Lincoln, from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. CT.
