Congratulations Badger wrestlers at NSAA State competition!

Cayden Lamb wrestled at 170# and earned first place at NSAA State! “Cayden Lamb won his state title in dominant fashion. Cayden had three pins and a tech fall en route to his title, and will go down as one of the most dominant performances ever at the state tournament,” said Coach Shane Allison. Will Sprenger 126# took second place at NSAA State! “Will’s finals didn’t end the way he wanted, but he will use it as motivation to come back better as a senior next year,” said Coach Shane Allison.

Ashton Lurz wrestled at 160# and took third place. “Ashton showed great character coming back to get third. That is the sign of a true warrior,” said Coach Shane Allison.

Gavin Sandoz wrestled at 138#. “Gavin ended his career giving it his all,” said Coach Shane Allison.

Freshman Louden Grooms wrestled at 106#. “He went 0-2 but gained valuable experience,” said Coach Shane Allison.

Congratulations Badger wrestlers at NSAA State competition!

It was the first time ever for Lady Badger wrestling, when Joslyn Yarbrough and Ariana Blume wrestled at NSAA State. “On the girls side, both Ariana and Joslyn won a match, and were both right there in the matches they lost. Coaching these girls has been awesome. The effort is always there, and they are eager to learn,” said Coach Shane Allison.
