The Lady Badger golf team traveled to Gothenburg September 28, 2021, where they took second place at the Southwest Conference Tournament held at Wild Horse Golf Course. The Sparks Nebraska Spurs Chapter of the Cowboy Fast Draw Association hosted another successful weekend of competition in Valentine, September 17-19, at the Cherry County Fairgrounds. This was the 10th anniversary of hosting the event in the Valentine area and the club did several special things to mark the occasion. The last several events have been held in the open pavilion barn at the Cherry County Fairgrounds. Other events included a banquet Saturday evening at the Peppermill with costume contest and special prizes as well as silent and live auctions.
