Badgers host Triangular

The Valentine Badgers hosted a triangular, Thursday, December 12, 2024 with Gordon-Rushville and Chadron. Individual results of the Gordon-Rushville match: 113 - Trevyn Younkin of Gordon-Rushville over Deklin Titus of Valentine, TF 21-6 5:54.

Busy week for the Badgers playing three games

The Valentine Badgers hosted Mullen, Tuesday, December 10, and won with a final score of 59-22. The Badgers played a total of 134 minutes collectively for the win.

One Act earns fifth place at Districts

Valentine One Act participated in a VERY competitive Class C1 District on December 4, 2024 earning a respectable fifth place with their performance of Pandora's Fire. Outstanding Performer awards went to: Hope Woodraska, Camilla Brown, Josie Shaul, Praise Maunu.

Badger basketball started season 1-1

The Valentine boys basketball team started off the 24/25 year in dramatic fashion. With a heartbreaking loss to the O’Neill Eagles on December 5, 49-50. The game was a back-and-forth battle, coming down to the last possession, with O’Neill’s, Alder hitting a buzzer beater giving them the one-point advantage. Isaac Cronin led the way for Valentine with a double-double: 21 points and 12 rebounds.

Badger wrestling earns sixth place

Valentine traveled to O’Neill for the wrestling match Saturday, December 7, 2024. The VHS boys team placed sixth out of 17 teams.

Lady Badgers have a promising future

This week, the Valentine Lady Badgers faced two tough losses against O’Neill and McCook. They bounced back from a challenging game against O’Neill and played tough against McCook, losing by only a few points. Though they lost, they persevered and have much to look forward to this season.

Cody-Kilgore season opener results in victories

CK was on the road for their first games of the season. The Cowgirls traveled to Howes, SD to take on the Takini Skyhawks, where they were victorious 66-10.
