To strategically improve efficiencies and manage resources across the Nebraska state park system, guided horse trail rides have been discontinued at Ponca State Park and Chadron State Park. Nebraska Game and Parks will continue offering trail rides at Fort Robinson, Platte River, Eugene T.

March 1, 2026 - Valentine ended up a good deal behind the Yutan Chieftains on Friday and lost 55-36. While losing is never fun, Valentine can’t take it too hard given the team’s big disadvantage in MaxPreps’ Nebraska basketball rankings ~ they are ranked 87th, while Yutan is ranked 29th.

The 6th grade boys finished their Valentine Youth Basketball league with a second place finish in Stuart. The boys won over Stuart for their first game and then battled with Creighton in a semi final game.
