On February 4, 2023 Cherry County 4-H had two teams competing at the Nebraska 4-H First Lego League Robotics Regional Qualifier in Henderson. The Badger Bot Team qualified for the state competition for the third year in a row with mostly all returning members: RJ Dean, Duncan Mosner, Isaac Utecht, Allen Ward, Tyler Harp, Cole Boes, Kaden Garwood and Tilden Foster.

Two Lady Badger wrestlers will be attending NSAA State - for the very first time. Ever! Wrestling Coach Shane Allison said, “Last year was the first year the NSAA sanctioned girls wrestling, and this is the first year we qualified anyone.”
