  • Meadow Reinders, pictured above, third from the left, is a local seventh grader who learned to sew and made receiving blankets for newborns at Cherry County Hospital for her Girl Scout Silver Award. Meadow was born at Cherry County Hospital a few weeks premature and was transferred to Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney. She has made blankets to give to the Good Samaritan Hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit also.
