On my Sunday trip out for church, I’m still in awe of the large drifts, and high banks along the roads. Now with some melting, they are some pretty hard sculptures! Duff and Kathy Tinant traveled to Chadron on Saturday and enjoyed watching grandson Max play basketball.

Mental wellness plays an important factor when making difficult choices, dealing with stress, and relating to other people in the world.

Eyesight is often taken for granted and living without it can be a challenge. Over three million Americans and over 60 million people worldwide have glaucoma, which is often referred to as 'the sneak thief of sight,' because there are often no symptoms of its presence. As much as 40% of vision can be lost without a person noticing, which experts estimate is the case in half of those who suffer from glaucoma.

The new year started off with more snow, and this one was named winter storm Hudson. Reports of 12-16” of snow fell over the area, causing roads to be shut again, and just a lot of work for anyone trying to work or move. Many families probably spent more time together over the past few weeks than they have in a long time, which may be a positive thing, but folks are ready to get back to “normal” with daily activities, ballgames and maybe some ice fishing thrown in. Keep ranchers and road workers in your prayers, as there’s a lot of winter left!
