St. Nicholas Catholic Church host spring meeting of North Platte Deanery

A spirit-filled day was enjoyed by the women of the North Platte Deanery of the Council of Catholic Women recently held in Valentine at St. Nicholas Church. The Deanery installed Loretta Hamilton as Vice President, heard of Pro-Life updates, legislative bills to watch, and community service projects were discussed prior to Mass and meditation. Fellowship and a delicious lunch followed to the enjoyment of all. A fall meeting is planned at North Platte St. Patrick's meeting Hall for September 30 and all women are encouraged to attend. Focus for that meeting will be a baby shower for the North Platte Women's Resource Center which serves pregnant women in the area and runs completely on donations. Back Row: Fr.
