Funeral Service for Norman J. Peterson, age 81 of Bassett, NE was held on Monday, November 17, 2025 at 10:30 a.m., in the Bassett Methodist Church. Burial followed in the Bassett Memorial Park Cemetery.
Norm Peterson passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at Avera St. Anthony’s Hospital in O’Neill, NE.
Survivors include his wife Gwen, of Bassett; children Kim Wright of Atkinson, Travis (Heidi) Dillon of Bassett; five grandchildren; brother, Wayne (Donna) Peterson of Valentine, NE; brother’s in law, Mark (Marie) Saar, Gary Saar, Michael Saar all of Bassett; alog with neices, nephews and other family members.
Visitations for Norm Peterson were held Sunday, November 16, 2025 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the Bassett Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been suggested to the family for a future designation.
