Caitlin Harlow Huggins peacefully passed away October 17, 2025, aided by hospice, and surrounded by her loving family. Caitlin was born in Williamsburg, VA and raised, along with her sister, Audra Harlow Noah, by her loving parents, John and June Harlow. She is survived by her parents, her sister, her husband, Mike Huggins, and her two wonderful children, Jackson and Mackenzie Huggins.

Geneva Darlene Thomas was born September 5, 1936 in Colome, SD to Meredith and Edna Lampitt Stone. Most of her childhood was spent growing up in Milboro, SD.

Jerry Ray Haas was born on November 25, 1964, at 12:55 a.m. in Ainsworth, NE, to Kenneth and Marilyn (Wahl) Haas of Valentine. He was delivered by Dr. Floyd Shiffmiller. Baptism by Rev. Warren G. Spellman on April 11, 1965, at the Valentine Methodist Church.

Longtime Valentine businessman, John Miller, passed away on October 6, 2025, at home surrounded by his family after a battle with cancer. John Howard Miller was born in Valentine, NE on June 6, 1953, to Howard and Sally Miller.

Wyonne Dorene Walkling passed away peacefully into the open arms of her Heavenly Father on October 4, 2025, at the Sandhills Care Center. She was 89 years old.

Celebration of Life for John Elmo Gardiner was held Friday, September 19, 2025 at 2:00 p.m., at 19th Hole Bar and Grill - Desert Lakes Golf Course, 2351 Hamilton Rd, Alamogordo, NM 88310..

A Memorial Service for Donna Lee Marlatt, age 89, formerly of Wood Lake, and Long Pine, NE will be held Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., in the Wood Lake Union Church. A private family inurnment will occur prior to that memorial service in the East Park Cemetery at Ainsworth. Donna Lee Marlatt passed away Monday, September 29, 2025, in the Parkside Manor at Stuart.

Gloria J. Andrews, age 92, of Nenzel, NE, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on September 23, 2025, at Rock County Long Term Care in Bassett, NE.

Kevin LeRoy Petersen, age 67, of Valentine, NE passed away at his home on September 26, 2025. Kevin was born on December 1, 1957 in Tilden, NE to Cecil and Sharon Petersen. He graduated from Elkhorn Valley High School in 1976.

Jerry Daniel Adamson, age 86, of Cody, Nebraska passed away peacefully, with his wife Deloris by his side, on September 17, 2025, at Linden Court in North Platte. He was born in Valentine, NE, on February 22, 1939, as the firstborn child of Emmet and Helen (Newberg) Adamson. He had one brother, Rex, and they rode horses every day to their District #88 schoolhouse. He attended his freshman year of high school at the University of Nebraska School of Agriculture in Curtis and attended Cody-Kilgore High School for his remaining three years, graduating in 1956. Basketball was one of his favorite sports. His senior year, Jerry was named Most Valuable Player of the Year and his team were District Champions.
