Why is it that people have such difficulty saying “Merry Christmas” as if it’s offensive? Besides the political correctness rampant in America, is there a deeper issue with people being able to recognize Christmas? Christmas is, and should be, a celebration of Christ coming to earth for the salvation of humanity. Every year, the Nebraska Hospital Association (NHA) bestows deserving recipients with the Caring Kind Award as recognition to Nebraska health care team members who have risen to the top by providing service excellence and dedication to their profession. These award recipients commit themselves to the betterment of their hospitals and health systems, their customers, their co-workers and their communities. The NHA started the Caring Kind Award 43 years ago. Cherry County Hospital and Clinic is pleased to announce that the winner of this year’s the Caring Kind award for our organization goes to Kathryn Renning.
