Ricketts secures $21 million in grants to reconstruct I-80 in Nebraska

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Pete Ricketts (R-NE) announced $21,172,718 in federal funding he helped to secure for the Nebraska Department of Transportation (NDOT) to reconstruct approximately nine miles of Interstate 80 between Odessa and Kearney. These Multimodal Project Discretionary Grants from the Department of Transportation (DOT) will also allow for the replacement of a rural bridge in Buffalo Countyover Interstate 80 in the affected area.

The Investiture of Michaela Hobbs

The occasion was a celebration as Michaela Hobbs was officially sworn in as Clerk Magistrate, Cherry County court, Eighth Judicial District, Thursday, January 18, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. The Honorable James J. Orr was the officiant on this very chilly, windy, day. Due to the weather conditions, several court officials were unable to attend in person, but did by a first ever Investiture service via Zoom.
