Politico ranked Nebraska as having the best COVID response

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Pete Ricketts (R-NE) highlighted the critical role of the Infection Control Assessment and Promotion Program at the University of Nebraska-Medical Center (UNMC) as a component of Nebraska’s highly successful response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Recently, Politico ranked Nebraska as having the best COVID response of any state considering health, economic, social, and educational factors.

UNO announces spring Dean’s list More than 4,600 students are being recognized for their academic achievements during the Spring 2023 semester at the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) with inclusion on the Chancellor’s and/ or Dean’s List. Students who qualify for the Dean’s List earned a GPA of 3.5 or better during the term listed above provided that 12 or more quality hours were completed.

The community is encouraged to donate blood July 6, 2023, from 11:30 a.m. 5:30 p.m. at the St. Nicholas Catholic Church Parish Hall to help those who have been seriously injured and need blood products to help them recover. It’s the blood already on the shelves that helps save lives.
