Donate blood May 4, and help trauma patients

Valentine - Donated blood is a lifesaving gift most healthy people can give. The community is encouraged to donate blood May 4, from 11:30 a.m. through 5:30 p.m. at the St. Nicholas Catholic Church to help those who have been seriously injured and need blood products to help them recover. It’s the blood already on the shelves that helps save lives.

Work continues for the IN VALENTINE project. Expect the traffic shift for north/ south traffic at 4th and Main to be removed.

Ruby Law holds Ribbon Cutting

Ruby Law is located in the red building on the corner of Fourth and Main Streets in Valentine. Kelsey Ruby is an attorney at law and is a 2007 graduate of Wayne State College where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree. She graduated from USD School of Law with a Juris Doctorate in 2010. She is licensed in the state of South Dakota, Nebraska, along with Rosebud, the United States Supreme Court, and federal court in South Dakota nd Nebraska. She offers legal services for criminal defense, civil cases, family law, and estate planning.

The Valentine Badgers traveled to O’Neill for their invitational, Thursday, April 13, 2023. The boys team tied for fourth place with 44. Individual results through 20th place are as follows: 100 Meter Dash - sixth place, Connor Kreutner, 11.93.
