LINCOLN – Thursday, February 24, 2022, Governor Pete Ricketts and Nebraska Department of Agriculture (NDA) Director Steve Wellman hosted members of the Nebraska FFA Association at the State Capitol to proclaim “FFA Week.”

Valentine High School students would LOVE for you to come share your knowledge, hobbies, and talents at our annual Victor E. Days, which will be held on April 19-20. We want you to share your talents by hosting your own workshop for our students from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sessions can be as short as an hour or as long as an entire day. Other options include 90 minutes, two hours, or four hours.

The Valentine Ministerial Association will be hosting Sermons-ala-Carte. The service starts at 12:00 noon at the Episcopal Church, 372 N. Main St. Service ends at 12:30 followed by food and fellowship in the Episcopal Church Fellowship Hall Those who need to get back to work by 1:00 p.m. are invited to go through the line first.

Ten O’Neill NorthStar employees were recently honored for their years of service during the Agency Governing Board meeting in Norfolk. Together, these employees have provided 205 years of supports to their service partners in the O’Neill area.

The University of Wyoming lists the following students from Nebraska on the 2021 fall semester academic Dean’s and Dean’s Freshman Honor Rolls.
