Delbert Dean Fullerton, 90, of Gothenburg formerly of Cody, died November 4, 2021 at Hilltop Estates. Graveside Services will take place on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at the Prairie Lawn Cemetery, Cody at 2:00 p.m.

Memorial Service Thomas Maddux

A memorial service for Thomas Maddux will be held Saturday afternoon, June 25, 2022, 2:00 p.m. MT, at the United Methodist Church of Wauneta, with Pastor Elias Mukindia and Mr. AB Cox officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Wauneta.

Delores (Dee) M. Burgess, 90, passed away by the light of the full moon May 15,2022.

Barbara E. Renning, 83

Barbara Ellen Evans was born in Mitchell, SD, on December 17, 1938 to David Evans and Gertrude (Trudi) Evans (Aldrich). Barb was the oldest of two children. Brother John entered the family three years later. The Evans family moved to Kadoka, SD, in 1943. Barbara graduated from Kadoka High School in 1956. While growing up, Barbara and the Evans family spent many summers at the cabin in the Black Hills near Hill City. Barb enjoyed knitting, making her great grandkids Christmas stockings, playing bridge and spending time with family and friends. While attending high school in Kadoka she worked several jobs, most in the waitressing area.

Robert C. “Bob” Wilson, 93

Robert Clymer “Bob” Wilson passed away May 23, 2022. He was a loving husband, father, brother, and friend to many. He was born June 25, 1928 in Beatrice, to Carrie Hazel Clymer and Joseph Lee Wilson. Bob was married to his loving wife Barbara Joyce Staats-Wilson for 60 years. They had three children: Leslie Birney, Chris (Cindy), and Susan (Tracey). They also have five grandchildren: Kara, Rob, Blaine, Allie, and Braden. The family moved to Valentine when Bob was two. He attended Valentine High School where he was a standout athlete. He was Captain of the 1945 Valentine Badgers Football Team that went undefeated and unscored upon. Bob went on to play football at CU. He loved his Buffaloes, Broncos, and Rockies! After graduating, he played trombone in the Army before returning to Valentine to coach football. Bob coached the team on the same field where he’d led his own 1945 team to victory. He was a hometown hero. In 1955, he decided to pursue a law degree and returned to Boulder. Bob went on to practice law and eventually became a judge in Lakewood. Colorado remained his home where he raised his family with wife Barbara. Bob was the leader of the Badgers. He was known for being levelheaded, thoughtful, smart, and fair. These were qualities that led him to be an amazing father as well as have a successful career. He will be missed – we love you Dad, rest in peace.

Lorriane Ballard, 93

Lorraine was born Theresa Lorraine Smith on April 20, 1929 at Valentine, to Clinton Smith and Elizabeth ‘Bessie’ (Howe) Smith. Being one of four girls in her class named Theresa, she made the decision to use her middle name most of the time. Lorraine was the middle child in her family, sister Elaine (Johnson) was older and brother Jim was her younger sibling. Lorraine enjoyed school; all of her many friends and their extracurricular activities. She actively participated in Badger Pep Club, Glee Club, Journalism staff, High School Annual staff and worked in the school office as a senior.

Ralph H. Eatinger 82

Ralph Harold Eatinger, 82, of Brownlee, passed away on May 23, 2022, at Linden Court in North Platte after a brief illness. Ralph, known as RH to many, was born on July 17, 1939 to Ralph and Norma Eatinger in Broken Bow.

Millie M. Mundorf, 78

Milldred “Millie” May (Iburg) Mundorf, 78, of Lincoln died Monday, May 16, 2022 at the Monarch House in Lincoln following a series of health issues. Funeral services were held in Elgin Saturday, May 21, 2022 with Reverend Dr. Michael A.L. Eckelkamp of Lincoln officiating.
