Dennis Lloyd Fullerton, 80, of Valentine passed away on January 7, 2022. Dennis was born on January 20, 1941, to Rolland and Pearl (Todd) Fullerton in Valentine.

James Ocie Alsworth Perrett known by everyone as “Ocie,” was born September 16, 1929 to George Fredrick Perrett and Ruth Marie Alsworth Perrett at Hyannis in the house on the hill at the north end of Main Street. At the age of 92 Ocie passed from this life into the joy of heaven not because he deserved it, but because he had trusted Jesus as his Savior.

Carl Raymond Lurz was born February 20, 1937 in Valentine and passed away Monday, January 3, 2022 at Great Plains Health, North Platte. The third born child of seven, Carl attended Crookston Grade School until eighth grade, when he left school to assist on the family ranch.

Margaret Kathern (Peg) Liberator a longtime resident of Valentine passed away at the Rock County Long Term Care facility in Bassett, on Thursday December 30, 2021 at the age of 105 years. She was born on November 30, 1916 to Charles and Jessie (Lake) Martin in Hopwood, PA.

James F. Mousel, age 59 of Kearney, died at home on Sunday, December 19, 2021. He was born October 21, 1962 in North Platte to James A. and Nikki (Hanna) Mousel. Jim graduated from Thedford High School in 1981 and attended college in Hastings and Colby, KS.

Constance Elizabeth was born to Walter (Shorty) and Elizabeth (Hudnall) Weber on Valentine on April 29, 1941. Connie had an older sibling, Bonnie (Weber) Guest.

Funeral service for Willis A. “Willie” Mundorf, 90, of Norfolk, was held Thursday, December 23, 2021 at the Stonacek Funeral Chapel in Norfolk. Deacon Ted Coler officiated. Graveside service was held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 28, at the Mount Hope Cemetery, Valentine with a luncheon to follow at St. Nicholas Parish Hall. She passed away on Monday, December 20, 2021 at the Heritage of Bel Air Nursing Home in Norfolk. Stonacek Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.

Michael Dean Witt, age 78, of Valentine passed away Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at the Cherry County Hospital in Valentine, after succumbing to an ongoing battle with cancer. Mike was born on October 19, 1943 in Ainsworth to Lloyd Daniel and Leona Belle (Case) Witt.

Eletha Louise was born to Leonard and Agnes (Kaplan) Sharp near Sparks on May 15, 1937. She attended school in Valentine.
