To honor their contributions and support them with additional resources, Nationwide and Nebraska are accepting nominations for Nebraska’s leading agricultural teachers for a chance to be named the 2024-2025 Ag Educator of the Year.

Lady Badgers win at their triangular

Tuesday, October 1, 2024, the Lady Badgers held their triangular and competed against Cody-Kilgore. The Lady Badgers won in two sets.

Miller makes Allconference at SWC Golf

The Lady Badgers traveled to Ogallala Tuesday, October 1, 2024 for a round of Southwest Conference Golf. They placed fourth out of eight teams, “With an impressive 405,” said Coach Devin Muirhead.

Badgers run at UNK and Atkinson

Monday, September 30, 2024 the Badger varsity XC team traveled to Kearney for the UNK Invitational, held at the Kearney Country Club. Individual results of the boys 5,000 meter Class D run are as follows: 42nd place, Deklin Titus, 19:31.2; 63rd place, Isaac Utecht, 20:02.3; 68th place, Devlin Welch, 20:14.5; 136th place, Tanner Two Strike, 21:53.1; 170th place, Landen Mooney, 22:52.9; 231st place, Duncan Mosner, 25:14.3; 232nd place, Boone Jespersen, 25:16.3; 250th place, Jackson Huggins, 26:29.8.

Cowgirls sweep Rams

The Cowgirls traveled to Edgemont on Thursday, September 26, 2024, where they fell to the Lady Moguls in three sets. Friday,September 27, the Cowgirls swept the Crawford Rams at home. This week, the Cowgirls traveled to Valentine, Tuesday for a triangular; Friday they are on the road to Arthur, and Saturday they will be traveling to Mullen for another Triangular.

Cowboys victorious over the Rams

The Cowboys were victorious over the Crawford Rams Friday, with a final score of 50-14. The Cowboys are on the road this week to visit the Arthur County Wolves.

Prewitt earns fifth place overall!

Cherry County 4-H member, Matthew Prewitt, competed in the Nebraska State 4-H Shotgun Championships the weekend of September 14, 2024, in Grand Island. Matthew brought home the third place bronze medal in sporting clays, placed seventh in trap, and 15th in skeet.
