Cherry County 4-H Achievement Night held

The annual 4-H Achievement Night was held in Cody on October 15, 2023. There was a packed house at the White Elephant Hall for the potluck meal, games, and awards presentations.

Cherry County Fair 4-H Shooting Sports results

The Cherry County 4-H Fair Shoot Off was held August 4-5, 2023. Trap and .22 Rifle Silhouette was shot in Cody on Friday evening and all other disciplines were contested at the Cherry County Fairgrounds on Saturday. The Shooting Sports Committee consists of Archery Instructor Adam Naslund, Rifle Instructor Jason McNare, and Trap Instructors Tyler Peterson, Mike Murphy, and Toby Heinert.

Cherry County Fair Horse results

The 2023 4-H Horse Show was held on Tuesday August 8, 2023, at the Cherry County Fairgrounds. Tim Gibbons from Gothenburg was the judge for the day, and Ann Neiffer was his ring steward. The trail judge was Don Grunhaupt. Hope Ramm with Little Bay Mare Photography captured all the events throughout the day.

74th annual Father-Son Dinner held at Presbyterian Church

The 74th annual Father-Son Dinner was a tremendous success with 93 fathers, sons, neighbors, brothers and friends filling the Presbyterian Church’s Fellowship Hall. They enjoyed a delicious traditional Turkey Dinner Wednesday, October 18, 2023.
