The Nebraska Youth Range Camp consists of a four-day dynamic curriculum that appeals to students with a wide array of interests including but not limited to, rangeland management, conservation, ecology, animal science, and wildlife. With over 59 years to perfect and evolve this curriculum, every student, no matter what prior experience they have, will learn substantial information that will help them become more aware of Nebraska’s most prevalent land use; rangelands.

The access road and boat launch at Willow Lake B.C. Wildlife Management Area in Brown County was closed beginning on April 17 until further notice because of an improvement project.

The Badger golf team hosted the Ainsworth Dual, Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at Fredrick Peak Golf Course. The Badgers placed first with 190 on a nine hole score. Individual scores: Cooper Jordan, 44; Logan Murihead, 46; Jackson Ravenscroft, 49; Garrett Cumbow, 51; Kanzas Kellum, 54; Caden Stankoski, and Reeves Witte each shot 55.

Through the week of April 3-5, 2023, six FBLA members had an amazing experience at the Nebraska FBLA State Leadership Conference. Members got to compete in various objective tests and presentations. Students also had the opportunity to attend many seminars and sessions with some of the top business leaders in the state.

The Valentine Badgers were able to compete Monday, April 4, 2023 at Bassett. The Lady Badgers placed eighth out of 10 teams with West Holt taking first place.
