The 13th annual Running with the Bulls 5K was held during the 2026 Bull Bash. Forty-five participants enjoyed the beautiful weather this year.

The honor rolls consist of regularly enrolled undergraduates above freshman standing who earned a 3.4 or better grade-point average, and freshmen who have earned a 3.25 or better grade-point average.

A team of ten seventh- and eighth-graders traveled to Stuart on Sunday, Feb. 22, 2026, to compete in the 32nd Annual Stuart Athletic Club Basketball Tournament, battling through a competitive double-elimination bracket in the eighth-grade division.

March 1, 2026 - Valentine ended up a good deal behind the Yutan Chieftains on Friday and lost 55-36. While losing is never fun, Valentine can’t take it too hard given the team’s big disadvantage in MaxPreps’ Nebraska basketball rankings ~ they are ranked 87th, while Yutan is ranked 29th.

The 6th grade boys finished their Valentine Youth Basketball league with a second place finish in Stuart. The boys won over Stuart for their first game and then battled with Creighton in a semi final game.

Maeli Patterson and Sam Sprenger put together a project for young girls in the community to get their nails done, operated on a free-will donation basis. “All the donations that will be collected will go toward Disabled American Veterans.

The Badger Cheer squad attended the NCA State Cheer & Dance for the second year and made school history by earning a fourth place finish in the C2 Large Squad Game Day division. Thank you for the parents, school, and community support!! Go Badgers!
