It’s not a surprise that we hold our veterans in very high regard. They’ve done so much to ensure our country remains free, so that we may live the life our forefathers envisioned. The students at Valentine High School put on a program at 10:15 a.m. for Veterans Day, November 11, that began with a video of elementary students sharing why they’re grateful for their veterans - many of them grateful for their military family members.

The Valentine Cemetery received a Tree Grant from the Nebraska Statewide Arboretum’s Trees for Nebraska Towns Initiative, funded by the Nebraska Environmental Trust, and the Nebraska Forest Service’s Landscape Scale Restoration Grant, funded by the U.S. Forest Service.
