Carol M. Cady,83

Carol Marie (Peed) Cady was born Sept ember 14, 1941 to Marvin Dean and Helen (Snyder) Peed on the family farm near Okreek, SD. She was the third born of four children; her sisters Vivian (Dewey) Ross and Darlene (Tom) Heinert; and brother Harold (Leah) Peed.

In 1949, Carol married her high school sweetheart, Stan Cady, and soon after established their life in Valentine.

Carol worked at the dentist office for many years. Upon her retirement, Carol volunteered at the Assembly of God Church and Pineview Good Samaritan Nursing Home.

Carol and Stan enjoyed doing everything together and lived a very happy life together. Carol and Stan moved into Cherry Hills Estates in 2016. Stan passed away in 2022 at the Sandhills Care Center in Ainsworth. Carol left this Earth to be reunited with her loving husband and family October 3, 2024.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Stan Cady; parents, Marvin Dean and Helen Peed; sisters Vivian Ross and Darlene Heinert; brother Harold Peed; sister-in-law Leah Peed; brothersin- law Dewey Ross, Howard Cady and Tom Heinert.

Carol is survived by her sistersin- law Delia (Bob) Stetter of Valentine, and Sharon Cady of Bon Carbo, CO; and brother-in-law Duane (Janet) Cady of Lakeview, SD.

Services were held October 9, 2024 at the Crossroads Assembly in Valentine with Pastor Paul Maunu officiating. Interment was at Mount Hope Cemetery, Valentine.
