Carolyn J. Titus, 68

Carolyn June Titus, age 68, peacefully passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at the University of Kansas Medical Center. A memorial service will be held in her honor at the Connot Brothers Auction Building located at 329 E. 1st Street in Valentine, Sunday, October 8, from 2:00-5:00 p.m.

Carolyn was born in Ord on September 20, 1954 to Richard and Robyn Reed. She graduated from Atkinson High School and moved on to earn her Bachelors of Nursing Degree.

Carolyn was a devout nurse, mother, grandmother, and sports fan. She had a huge laugh, a bigger heart and the ability to make anyone feel loved. Carolyn will be missed by many because she touched the lives of so many through her nursing and genuine care of those around her.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Robyn and Richard Reed and granddaughter, Emiley Gant.

She is survived by her son, Ryan and wife, Jennifer Gant of Paola, KS; daughters, Jenny Gant and husband Tyler Rupert of Belton, MO, and Amy Gant and fiance, Arnold Lagos, of Ft. Collins, CO. She had two sisters, Connie and husband Pete Morgan of Grand Island, and Patty and husband Rod Schmuecker of Atkinson. She loved her four grandchildren, Corbin and Sydney Gant, and Payton and Mackenzie Tettenborn, along with her three great grandchildren.
