Caryll Marline Homan passed away July 25, 2024 at Linden Court in North Platte. She was born September 20, 1928, at Burton, the sixth child to Lee Hutchison and Isabel (Hollingsworth) Hutchison. When she was two years old, the family moved to St. Francis, SD on the Rosebud Indian Reservation. They lived in a sod house which her father and uncle built. From there, they moved north of Crookston.

She attended country school in South Dakota until high school when she went to Mission, for three years. She finished her senior year in Valentine where she graduated in 1946.

Caryll met her future husband, Martin, while she worked as a waitress in Bob’s Café. They were married in May of 1946. Four children were born to them.

In 1956, she gave her life to Jesus and was a faithful follower until her death.

She entered Linden Court Nursing Home in North Platte due to failing health in January 2021.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter Linda Homan; siblings, Geraldine Tinant, Gene Hutchison, twin brothers Rex and Max, Leabelle Mathiesen, and twin sisters Maurine McCrary and Corrine Stanley; four brothers-inlaw and two sisters-in-law.
