David G. Carr, 85

David G. Carr, 85, went to heaven October 13, 2024 with his family by his side. Dave was born on March 8, 1939 in Ainsworth. He graduated from Winner High School, Class of 1957. Always a country boy, growing up on the Carr Ranch in Hidden Timber, SD.

He met the love of his life, Betty, in Fort Collins, CO, while attending CSU, and had two wonderful children, Angela (Jim) Sanders and Valerie White, and three grandchildren, Tara Cook, Taylor White, and Tyler White.

As he was so affectionately call the “Crazy Irishman,” his love for family and friends never wavered and his legacy will live on in his family.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty R. Carr and his parents, Raleigh and Elaine Carr.

A private memorial service was held by the family. Pate-Jones Funeral Home, Senatobia, MS was in charge of the arrangements.
