Diamond Channae Brown entered into the world on October 17, 1995 in Dodge City, KS to Rebecca Sue Fancher and John H. Brown, III.
Diamond was a friend to all, a natural born leader, and someone known as never giving up. She was an includer, kind and welcoming to everyone. She judged no one but was hard on herself. She was adventurous and spontaneous. She loved traveling and has always moved around with her car, but also by her natural motor. For those of you who knew her, she always had to keep her legs moving.
Diamond had a love for animals since a young age which led her to get her degree in animal science. She graduated December 13, 2018 with a Bachelor Degree in Animal Science and a Minor in Entrepreneurship. Her hobbies included, art, listening to music, sports, singing in the car and shower, watching movies, cooking and playing video games.
Diamond enjoyed hanging out with her friends but also loved being alone to do hobbies.
Survivors include: mother Rebecca Journey, stepdad Daniel Journey of the home, stepdad Henry Morrow of Kansas, and father John Brown III of Kansas, brothers Bryce Stein, Aaron Heiland, Tevin Heiland and sister Laila Brown; stepbrothers Caleb Morrow, Nathan Journey, and Blake Journey; stepsisters Brittany Journey, Alexis Journey-Flores, Elizabeth Journey, and Dana Journey. Grandparents Victor and Crysta Torson of Crookston, Lillian Brown of Dodge City, KS, Dan and Nancy Journey of Aurora. A host of uncles, aunts and cousins and numerous other family and friends. Diamond was preceded in death by grandfather John Brown II.
Memorial service was held on Saturday, May 15 at 1:00 p.m. at Sandoz Chapel of the Pines in Valentine, NE. Inurnment followed at Prairie Lawn Cemetery in Cody. Sandoz Chapel of the Pines in Valentine was in charge of service arrangements.
