Marylyn J. (Sheets) Ohlmann, 87

Marylyn Joyce (Sheets) Ohlmann was born October 2, 1936 and retured to the loving arms of Jesus November 7, 2023. Marylyn’s life reflected the love of her faith, family, friends, art, and animals.

Her interests were as vast as the prairie skies. From studying the Bible weekly with friends from Illinois, to studying history, art, politics, and avidly reading.

Her home was always a welcoming place for gatherings, sharing in fellowship, the delicious foods she created and making lifetime memories. She was a mother to several, a friend to many, a mentor and a confidant.

Her life tapestry was woven with the brilliant colors of the beautiful person God created her to be.

Marylyn was preceeded in death by her husband Floyd H. Ohlmann and infant son,Timothy Bruce; parents William R. Sheets and Della “Nancy” Emma Clara (Ragland) Sheets; siblings Myron Leroy, William Darrell, James Ray, Robert Henry and Alice Marie Sheets; and niece Connie (Reimers) Kulbiski.

She is survived by her children Garnet(Jeff)Starr and family, Valentine; Terrance Ohlmann- Hermosa, SD; Todd Ohlmann, Valentine; Sherry(Randy) Voigt, Valentine; sisters-in-law, Betty(Ohlmann)Reimers, Thelma Sheets, Omaha; nieces and nephews, Nancy(Reimers)Simmons and family, Eli; Lois (Dick) Schneider and family, Kilgore; Joyce (Dan) Bauman and family, Pickrell; Randy (Laura) Sheets and family, Follett,TX; Richard (Rita) Sheets and family, Aberdeen,SD; Matt Sheets, Gordon; Mark (Shonda) Sheets and family, Alliance; Mike (JoAnna) Sheets and family, Lincoln; Doug (Susan) Sheets and family, Omaha; Kathy Johansen and family, Omaha; Debbie (Tom) Busch and family, Alexandria,MN; Jamie (Keith) Bartness and family, St. Paul, MN.
