Myrtle (Doering/Dunse) Collins, 96 years of age, passed away August 27, 2026 at Sandhills Care Center in Ainsworth, NE.
Myrtle was born February 9, 1930 to Howard and Amy (Casey) Doering of rural LaValle, WI.
She lived in Wisconsin until 1978 when she moved to Nebraska to help take care of her parents.
She is survived by her daughter Lois (Morris) Honer, Highland, WI; \\ sister-in- law Darlene Doering Loveland, CO; many special nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She is also survived by Frank’s children and their families, Franklin (Penny) Collins, Eileen Olson, Sidney (Vicki) Collins, Nathan Collins, Iva (Wayne) Bussboom.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Frank Collins; brothers Rolland, Alvin (Mary); Carl Doering, and a sister Marjorie (Richard) Kneifel; and her precious cat Patchy.
