Warren "Keith" Stotts was born May 8, 1959, to Warren W and Vi Stotts in Martin SD. He was the third of five children. They lived in Cody during his childhood years where he worked on the family ranch and attended Cody-Kilgore Unified Schools. They later moved to Valentine where Keith attended and graduated from Valentine Rural High School. He attended school for diesel mechanic for one year.
He was married to Deanna Allard for 14 years. Two children were born into that union, Kelli and Mike.
Throughout the years Keith worked several jobs from Road Construction to auto/diesel mechanics. His favorite job however was as an over the road truck driver, as an owner/operator. Keith and his mom briefly owned the Diamond X Bar in Valentine. He enjoyed boating, fishing, racing and watching Husker football.
In the last few years, he made a home in Altus, OK with his daughter Kelli and her family.
Keith passed away in Altus, OK, on October 15, 2021. He is preceded in death by his parents Warren and Vi Stotts.
Keith is survived by his children Kelli (Bryant) Kruckenberg of Altus, OK, Mike (Maisie) Stotts of Valentine, Grandchildren Timothy Petersen, Katherine Petersen, Allison Petersen, Collin Stotts. His siblings Steven (Mary) Stotts of Topeka KS, Eileen Stotts of Rapid City SD, Richard Stotts of San Antonio TX, Andy (RaeAnn) Stotts of West Point. Many other close friends and families.
Memorial Mass was held on Monday, October 25, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Valentine. Rosary was recited on October 24, 2021, at 7:00 p.m. at Sandoz Chapel of the Pines. Burial will be at a later date. Sandoz Chapel of the Pines oversaw service arrangements.
