Wade Jonathan Ladely, 46, of Bridgeport, passed away Friday, May 28, 2021, at his home. His funeral service was held Thursday, June 3, 2021, at the Prairie Winds Community Center in Bridgeport with Pastor Rick Reisig officiating. Interment will follow at Oregon Trail Memorial Cemetery in Bridgeport. There will be no visitation. The family respectfully requests that in lieu of any flowers, or memorials in Wade’s honor, be made in care of his family to be designated at a later time.

Gayle L. Miller, 85, of Kearney passed away Friday, May 28, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family. A Celebration of Gayle’s Life will be held at Family of Christ Church at 1319 5th Avenue in Kearney at a later date.

Joseph Donald Bristow, known as Don to all who knew him, was born March 26, 1927, at the Rosebud Hospital in Rosebud, SD. He was the seventh child of Sarah (Mahaney) and Mortimer Bristow and the only one born in South Dakota. His six siblings, Lloyd, Francis, Leone, Claire, Darlene, and Robert, were born in Iowa. Don passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, May 15, 2021 in Valentine. Don attended school in Todd

Joseph Lawrence Giles was born April 14, 1926, at the family ranch a half mile west of Elsmere, to Charles M. and Astrid E.

Joan D. (Vaughn) Kennedy was born February 7, 1934 to James and Ruby (Ogle) Vaughn of Cherry County.

On October 25, 2020, Donald Eugene Adams passed away in Chadron with his daughter at his side. He was 88 years old.

Tuesday, May 11, 2021, Jerry Monnier, our beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away at the age of 73. He was surrounded by his family as he took his final breath and assured them “this isn’t good bye, it’s see you later!” He was confident in his salvation and excited to meet his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Jerry was born in Kilgore, January 9, 1948 to George and Goldie Monnier.

Elsie Farley, age 92, of Cody, died on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at the Hans P. Peterson Memorial Hospital in Philip.

Donald Engle Allen was born December 23, 1922 in the Allen Family sod house in Brown County, Nebraska and passed away on April 24th, 2021 in Del Rio, TX. He was the fourth child of his parents Fred Albert Allen and Mabel Henrietta (Hewitt) Allen. Doctors Hewitt, Don’s grandparents, attended to Don’s birth and to those of his three siblings.

Richard “Rick” E. Anderson Sr., age 68, of Yankton, SD, died Thursday, May 6, 2021, at his home in Yankton.
