A record setting snowfall occurred, Friday, January 27, 2023. Three inches fell breaking the old record of 2.2 inches set in 1944. Snow continued the next day, adding 2.3 inches along with some extremely cold temperatures. The coldest, according to NOAA Weather, was -16 degrees Monday, January 30, at 7:52 a.m., with a wind chill of -32. The sun glowed warm, after being hidden by snow clouds all weekend long - perhaps making it look warmer than it really was?
