“The Badger wrestling team was finally able to compete this last weekend. The Badgers placed third in the 21 team field, only behind #2 Class A ranked Lincoln East and Class A #5 ranked Columbus High.

The Wildlife Society held their national meeting in Spokane, WA early in November 2022. At this meeting they presented their Distinguished Service Award to Leonard (Len) McDaniel of Valentine.

The Valentine Lions Club partners with The Salvation Army each year to raise money during the Christmas Kettle Campaign that runs from the day after Thanksgiving through Christmas Eve. The goal set for 2022 was $8,000 and thanks to 100 bell ringers, along with many generous donors, the goal was exceeded and $8574.12 was raised.

The Valentine Lady Badgers traveled to Chadron for the Holiday Tournament. They played the Custer Wildcats and lost with a score of 31-33.
