The Badger golf team participated in the Highway 20 Invite held at Bassett, Monday, May 8, 2023. They placed fifth out of 11 teams, with 382.

The Valentine Badgers competed at Districts in West Holt, Thursday, May 11, 2023. Individual boys results are as follows: 200 Meter Dash - fourth place, Lex Larsen, 23.47.

Valentine High School held their commencement Program, Saturday, May 13, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. Their class motto was: Chase your dreams, but always know the road that’ll lead you home again, Tim McGraw Their class flower was a red rose, with turquoise and gold as their class colors. Till You Can’t by Cody Johnson was their class song. There were 49 graduates from Valentine High School, of them, 22 were honor graduates and included: Ashlee Jo Bacon, Mekallyn Darae Bancroft, Taylor Ann Battershaw, Saylor Denne Renea Biltoft, Hanna Christine Bitner, Jaycie Grace Cox, Lainey Genne Egelhoff, McKenna Ann Elliott, Connor Fairfield Kreutner, Jack Matthew Lancaster, Ashton Joseph Lurz, Lee George Minford Major, Grace Althea Maunu, Casey William Miller, Malika Shae Amari Monroe, Logan Shadow Muirhead, Taycee Jo Reimers, Sheldyn Don Rodgers, Cole Frederick Simon, Gracey Rhey Taylor, and James Michael Woodraska.

Valentine Community Schools is pleased to announce Ann Krueger as Head One Act Coach. Ann is originally from Cheyenne, WY. She graduated in 2007 with honors from the University of Wyoming with a degree in Marketing and minors in Finance and German.

Cody-Kilgore Unified Schools held their commencement exercises, Saturday, May 13, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. MT.

The Badgers competed at the Ainsworth Invite, Tuesday, May 2, and placed fourth with 391. Medaling were fifth place tie, Logan Muirhead with 89; seventh place, Jackson Ravenscroft wiht 93.
