Wellactually,thebisonneverleft the refuge. They’ve just been out of sight for the past couple months. Each year the refuge rotates bison throughmorethanadozenpastures to ensure that areas are not overgrazed. Duringmostof thesummer, the bison can only be seen from the Wilderness Overlook because they are roaming pastures on the south side of the refuge. For the next two to three weeks, however, bison will be roaming along the county road east of the Visitor Center.

Helping you get on your way is Wrenched Tire and Auto, LLC, owned by Ryan and his wife ShyloeBattershaw.Theyarelocated at 120 E. B Street, on the corner, in Valentine. Ryan has been a mechanic for the past 16 years at Tony’s Tire and Auto, and decided to venture on his own.
