Valentine, NE – [May 22, 2025] – The Sandhills Area Foundation recently distributed $4,000 to the Valentine Public Library Foundation from the Wilson-Taylor endowment. The Wilson-Taylor endowment, administered through the Sandhills Area Foundation, wasestablishedtofundeducational andcommunity-basedprogramsin the area, with monies periodically going directly to the Valentine Public Library and the Sandhills Area Foundation scholarship fund. Dividends from this endowment fluctuate based on market performance and are disbursed to benefit the local library and community scholars.

The 20th Annual Nebraska Sandhills Cowboy Hall of Fame Banquet and Induction Ceremony will be held June 7, 2025 at the 4-H Building at the Cherry County Fairgrounds in Valentine, NE. Social Hour will begin at 4:00 p.m., Benefit Auction will take place at 5:00 p.m., Banquet at 6:00 p.m.

Our boys team finished third, 8 points out of first. It was a fantastic day for our Track Program. We are excited to watch our State Qualifiers compete at State Track next week, as we are also proud of our seniors, and excited for our underclassmen returning next year.”
