Kirk and Chelsey Peterson, Graig and Stephanie Kinzie and Clint and Katie Painter have combined their resources to purchase the Ainsworth Star-Journal from Rod and Kathy Worrell.

Officer Jasmine Hoefs was celebrated January 2, 2025, for her remarkable 10 years of dedicated service to the city of Valentine. Known for her commitment and professionalism, Officer Hoefs has become a cornerstone of the Valentine Police Department, earning the admiration of local residents.

The Badger basketball teams had a busy week of games. The Lady Badgers have gone 3-0 since December 13, going 3-3 into the Holiday Tournament.

The Badger wrestling team held their tournament Saturday, December 21, 2024. Individual results are as follows: 106 Deklin Titus (10-4) placed 3rd and scored 20.0 team points.
