    XC runs NSAA D-6 Districts

    Coach Alex Jensen said, “For the NSAA D-6 Districts we ran Thursday, October 17, at Pheasant Run Golf Course in Grant, NE. The five boys and two girls we took to compete were Deklin Titus, Devlin Welch, Isaac Utecht, Tanner Two Strike, Christen Larson, and Paige Sprenger.

    Lady Badgers play NSAA State Golf at Lake Maloney

    NSAA Class C Girls State Golf played at Lake Maloney Golf Club in North Platte, October 14-15, 2024. The top 15 teams out of 81 Class C Nebraska schools played Monday and Tuesday of last week in the two day state tournament.

See if you can figure out the Chamber of Commerce’s game of who-dun-it, this Thursday, October 24, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.! The winner of the mystery will receive a prize of Chamber Bucks.

    Rain fell! Actual RAIN!!! While it wasn’t what we wanted, it was better than nothing with a whole .02 inches in the early morning hours of Saturday, October 19, 2024. Nearly all of Cherry County is experiencing severe drought conditions according to the UNL Drought Monitor.

    Yvonne Hollenbeck shares Patchwork on the Prairie

    Friday, October 18, 2024 was a lovely day to hear about Patchwork on the Prairie at the Valentine Senior Center. With an overcast greyed sky, and a little chill in the air, is was perfect to see these hand made confections from Yvonne Hollenbeck’s collection - some of which she made on her own. The program featured dessert and coffee afterwards.
