Coach Alex Jensen said, “For the NSAA D-6 Districts we ran Thursday, October 17, at Pheasant Run Golf Course in Grant, NE. The five boys and two girls we took to compete were Deklin Titus, Devlin Welch, Isaac Utecht, Tanner Two Strike, Christen Larson, and Paige Sprenger.

NSAA Class C Girls State Golf played at Lake Maloney Golf Club in North Platte, October 14-15, 2024. The top 15 teams out of 81 Class C Nebraska schools played Monday and Tuesday of last week in the two day state tournament.

Friday, October 18, 2024 was a lovely day to hear about Patchwork on the Prairie at the Valentine Senior Center. With an overcast greyed sky, and a little chill in the air, is was perfect to see these hand made confections from Yvonne Hollenbeck’s collection - some of which she made on her own. The program featured dessert and coffee afterwards.

Sandhills Area Foundation is pleased to announce the award of a $25,000 grant from Union Bank and Trust on behalf of the Heart City Theater group. This generous funding will support the theater initiatives in partnership with the Heart City Theater group.
